COUNSELING & COURT SERVICES

Midwest ADP offers supervised probation services, Substance Awareness Traffic Offender Programs (SATOP), alcohol and drug education and counseling, and other court services programs in the Kansas City Metro Area.

Supervised Probation

Midwest ADP provides probation supervision as directed by the court. If you’re assigned probation, the court will list certain conditions, and it’s our job to meet with you and make sure that you’re abiding by those conditions which you’ve agreed to. You’ll typically meet with your assigned probation officer at least once a month to keep current on the terms of your probation. We want you to be successful with the terms of your probation; however, if we suspect that you’ve violated the conditions of your probation we’ll have to communicate that to the court.

SATOP Programs

The Substance Awareness Traffic Offenders Program (SATOP) is for those who have been arrested for DWI or DUI in Missouri, in order to either satisfy court requirements, reinstate driver’s license, or both. The SATOP process begins with a screening to determine the appropriate level of education or counseling and is based upon a number of factors, including number of DWI arrests, BAC at the time of arrest, and an interview with a substance use counselor. Midwest ADP offers all levels of SATOP programming: OEP, WIP, CIP, and SROP.

Driver Improvement Programs

Midwest ADP offers an 8-hour course certified by the Missouri Safety Center, which may be used for a points waiver if ordered by the court.

Shoplifting Education Programs

Midwest ADP offers a 4-hour course held on Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings for individuals charged with shoplifting or theft.
